All adults, whether we have children or not, have the responsibility of taking the initiative to create the best possible environment to optimize students' learning. This responsibility comes precisely from the fact that we are the adults; therefore, those who kids depend on.
It is, also, a non-transferible and non-negotiable responsibility.
When, for whatever reason, we can't play this role, we need to seek / find / have available the resources that will provide us with what we need in order to re-connect with ourselves, find our center again, love ourselves, and then to be prepared to offer kids what we need to offer them, what they need us to offer to them.
This is why it is vital that, on one hand, educators and families have support systems (family, friends, health professionals, therapists, coaches, training...), and on the other hand, that companies and organizations of all kinds own as well their part of responsibility and get involved in the learning processes through all kinds of collaboration programs with schools and families.
